Tellicherry Social Service Society (TSSS), established in 1966 under the Archdiocese of Tellicherry, is a dedicated voluntary organization serving Kannur and Kasaragod districts in Kerala. Regardless of caste, creed, or religion, TSSS uplifts socially and economically disadvantaged communities through grassroots initiatives. From its inception, TSSS has nurtured community-based organisations, including credit unions, Mahila Seva Sanghams, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), Farmers' Clubs, and children’s groups. These entities empower locals towards self-reliance, benefiting 30,000 families through 126 Credit Unions, 15 Gramikas, 17 Mahila Seva Sanghams, and 562 SHGs.

TSSS collaborates extensively within NGO networks such as Caritas, NGO Network, and Kerala Social Service Forum, advocating for environmental sustainability, gender equality, and child rights. It actively engages with Panchayat Raj Institutions (PRIs) to address community needs effectively.

Advocacy is a cornerstone of TSSS’s mission, influencing policies for the marginalised. Gender equality initiatives include supporting women's economic empowerment and safeguarding children's rights through education and safe environments. Environmental stewardship is integral to TSSS’s activities, promoting sustainable development practices and community resilience. TSSS embodies compassion and social justice, continuing to transform lives through its holistic approach to community development.
